Electric Scissor Lift

Customer Background

An agriculture demonstrations park in China required electric scissor lift for park construction as well as vegetable management. They required 6 units, but the greatest restriction was the width of the lift platform. The total width of the vegetable plant aisles was 900mm, which meant that the lift had to be designed much smaller to move through the aisles.

Design Solution

One of the first things we had to tackle was the width of the mini electric scissor lift’s platform. The size of the platform was designed to be 2.26*0.81m, which gave the electric scissor lift a width of 0.81m. Since our customer was all about vegetation and environment, they specifically customized the color of the mini electric scissor lift to be green.

We also incorporated犀利士 a self-lock mechanism in the lift. This meant that once the lift came to a stop, the wheels will lock themselves, so no sudden movements are possible. This lock could also be used by the park as a safety features as they could leave the electric scissor lift in the park unattended after duty.

The total load capacity of the platform was 380kgs. This provided enough support to carry loaded water tanks to the upper shelves to water the vegetables. This also helped the client to move heavy plant pots from one end of the park to the other. The load capacity was customized according to the client’s demand. In the initial phase, one unit was designed, and after client approval, we went ahead and manufactured the other 5 units as well.
