Mobile Scissor Lift

Customer Background

Sean is a customer from Australia. Sean works outd必利勁 oors, and his main job is to trim trees and bushes. He required 3 units of scissor lift. One unit will be provided initially as a sample, and the other 2 units will be delivered after the approval of the sample. He also requires a trailer for the scissor lift that can be attached to his car so that the lift can be carried from one place to another easily.

Design Solution

The customer needed the trailer scissor lift for outdoor work, so a battery lift power was suggested. Since the trailing scissor lift would be attached at the back of the car, it had to work with the indicators of the car. Signal lights were added on the rear, so when the car signals for a left turn, so does the trailer scissor lift.

The trimming of trees and bushes classify as an aerial job, and that is why a platform was added to the lift. The platform length was kept 600mm, so that reach is maximized. Whenever we work on the aerial working equipment, support is something that we pay special attention to. Four-legged support was added so that the lift can be grounded while the work is being done.

All standard safety procedures were followed during the designing and manufacturing of the trailing scissor lift. Initially, one unit was sent as a sample, and after the client approved the sample, we sent another 2 units to Sean in Australia. All the units were made identical to one another.
